Overcoming Mom Doubt for Good
Can we all agree that being a mom is hard.
That you get tired and it never ends. In fact it is the only job in the world that never ends. You have a start date but never an end date. Have you ever thought about that?
Do you know what the meaning of Overwhelm is?
Overwhelm is bury or drown beneath a huge mass
There are days that feel like the weight of the world is going to completely bury you alive.
Doubt is a feeling of uncertainty or lack of conviction.
It is now wonder that these things go hand in hand
But, is it possible to truly find a balance?
I hear it talked about so much, but is there a way to truly do it? Can a busy and overwhelmed mom find peace and joy without sacrificing something?
Yes you can.
See, women are amazing creatures. We have a way of being able to get things done and we can do them well.
Despite what society tells you, it is possible to have it all, just not in the way that the pictures and movies tell us. We each have our own perfect picture of how things should be.
I want you to be able to enjoy the life that you have not try to live the small part of the life that someone else has shown you.
In todays society it is really easy to fall victim to the comparison trap brought on by social media. It is easy to see something and then think to yourself, I'm not doing it right. Why can't my house look like that.
It is easy to see a post on Facebook or try to get advice only to be told that you are doing it all wrong.
I read this quote once and it really helped me to get to where I am today.
“Comparison is the thief of joy.” Theodore Roosevelt.
Read that again!
I want to remind you that you are an AMAZING MOM.
You do not need to do what other moms are doing to feel good about yourself.
You do not need to scroll through social media to find out if you are doing it right.
Your kids don't need the same things other kids need to be happy, they need you!
